Our Student Network is here to offer support and tips if you’re at university in London, or if you’re about to start. We also aim to connect visually impaired students by hosting networking events across the capital. At these events you can make friends, learn from each other, and network.
You could also meet professionals who can provide a variety of internships and other opportunities.
We recognise that being a visually impaired student in London can bring great opportunities, but also have its challenges. Accessing course materials, meeting new people, or just getting around your university can all bring difficulties. We feel the best way to learn something is to speak to someone who has lived experience, so if you’re having issues at university (social or academic) our mentoring forum may be able to help connect you with a VI Londoner with some advice.
Or if face to face is more your thing then consider coming along to one of our term time networking events. Check out our upcoming events below.
