Newham Information Day

We would like to meet you and tell you more about what we do – that’s why we’re holding an Information Day in Newham on 7 October.

If you are blind or partially sighted, a friend or family member of someone with sight loss, or support people with sight loss in the community why not come along to the Information Day on 16 September and meet our friendly team?

Learn about what we do and what we can do for you. Hear local voices and try out some of the latest aids, technology and find out about the   help & support available. For people with low vision and sight loss.

You can also meet other local charity representatives at the Information Day, learn about other organisations working in Newham and speak to the local Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO).

The event is sponsored by Sight and Sound Technology and Enabled Living, who will also be exhibiting on the day. We are also pleased to be welcoming RNIB, Insight Mind and local opticians to the event, who can answer any eye health questions. More exhibitors to be announced.

Sight and Sound Technology will demonstrate some of the latest assistive technology on offer. Dr Beverley Duguid from Insight Mind will provide mindfulness taster sessions.

This is a free event but please register so everyone can have access to free refreshments on the day.

Get in touch on info@londonvision.org or 0203 761 3651 for more information and to register to attend.
