Gerald is our Interim Chief Officer. He is responsible for providing leadership, management, governance, and operational direction, working with the Board to develop the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
Gerald’s background is in fundraising, with over 14 years’ experience working for several high-profile not-for-profit organisations. He has a wealth of experience, personally and leading teams to secure significant income. Before joining London Vision, he worked as a consultant for a London CCG and a SEND charity. Prior to the voluntary sector, Gerald worked for several commercial organisations in Defence and Security.
Gerald enjoys, sport, music, reading crime novels, spending time with family and frequent visits to good pubs.


Rosalind is London Vision’s Communications Officer. She maintains London Vision’s website and social media presence, supports ongoing campaigns and projects and is responsible for coordinating all internal and external communications.
Prior to joining London Vision, Rosalind worked in European volunteering and women’s rights. She maintains an interest in gender equality and global development. In her spare time she enjoys riding and restoring classic motorcycles and taking part in sports such as football, climbing and cycling.


Bhavini is the Engagement Manager for London Vision and Guide Dog owner to Colin. She campaigns and advocates on issues including accessible transport, healthcare and more. She engages with influencers, stakeholders and blind an partially sighted people across London to feed into consultations and projects to work towards an inclusive capital. Bhavini previously worked as an Activities Co-ordinator arranging events, activities and outings as well as guest speakers for meetings for people with sight loss.
Bhavini also volunteers and is the Ambassador for Retina UK, Co-Chair of the BAME Sight Loss Committee and Trustee for Transport for All.
She enjoys the theatre and music concerts, going for long walks, cooking, and is a wife and mother to two daughters.


Jonathan Ward is one of London Vision’s development managers. His areas of work include the delivery of Living with Sight Loss courses and raising awareness of sight loss across London. Jonathan has been providing or managing services for blind and partially sighted people for more than 30 years. Previously he has worked for Kent Association for the Blind and the RNIB. Away from work Jonathan competes in a number of sports, including shot put, discus and hammer throwing.

Liam is responsible for the chairing and administration of two of London Visions networks, the Working Age Forum and the London Visual Impairment Forum (LVIF). he also produces the fortnightly LVIF email Bulletin and writes articles for the London Vision web site.
Before joining London Vision, Liam worked as an actor in theatre, television and radio and he conceived the name for the theatre company Extant. In his spare time Liam enjoys literature, creative writing and listening to live sport.
Christine is London Vision’s Administration and Information Officer. She maintains London Vision’s info email account, London Scene and various other mailing lists, being the first point of contact on the telephone, supports ongoing projects and has various administration duties.
Prior to joining London Vision, Christine spent a large part of her career working for UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund. Where she had various roles and many titles, but has always worked in administration.

Thomas Pocklington Trusts is a national charity dedicated to enabling and empowering blind and partially sighted people of all ages to live the life they want to lead. They are committed to increasing awareness and understanding of their needs and aspirations, to working with partners and to developing and implementing services which meet these needs to increase independence and improve lives. These include:
- Acting as an advocate and positive change agent for blind and partially sighted people.
- Creating opportunities for blind and partially sighted people seeking employment.
- Enabling opportunities and supporting blind and partially sighted people whilst in and entering education.
