London Vision has been working in partnership with RNIB to deliver Living with Sight Loss courses across London. Earlier this year we hosted successful groups in Merton and St Thomas’s Hospital. Sadly, we are no longer offering face to face courses this year due to COVID-19 and the need to practise social distancing. We will restart our Living with Sight Loss programme in January 2021.
In the meantime, here’s what we are planning: from July we will be offering bite size chunks of the Living with Sight Loss course on the phone or via the internet. We will keep the sessions short and the numbers low so everyone will have time to talk. If you would like to learn more drop us an e-mail [email protected] or call on: 0203 761 3651.
We look forward to you joining the sessions. A full list of times dates along with session content can be found below, or here.
Alternatively, RNIB are delivering Living with Sight Loss courses over the phone; you can find out much more by calling RNIB’s Helpline on 0303 1239999. The helpline team will also be able to tell you about the many other telephone based services RNIB offer. If you are worried about your vision during the pandemic, check out this advice from RNIB.
