Current opportunities

Eye Clinic Volunteer

This role supports staff at Moorfield’s satellite sight loss clinics based in four locations across East London and one in Dartford. Volunteers offer information and emotional and practical support to the patients of the eye clinics, who may have been recently diagnosed or are undergoing treatment. The role is a regular weekly commitment of three hours in the morning (10am to 1pm) or afternoon (1pm to 4pm), Monday to Friday.

Events

Volunteers support our local groups with their social and leisure activities. These vary greatly to include events such as kayaking, dance classes, art exhibitions, monthly coffee mornings, outings, networking events and forums. This role needs confident, flexible and reliable volunteers willing to try new things and to support participants to attend and fully participate in the activity, whatever it may be! Events usually take place Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm with occasional evenings and weekend activities.
