Square Dance Following the success of last year’s Square Dance, the band and caller are back for another fun evening of music and dance! All are welcome, bring your friends and family to make more squares! A Square dance is a country dance of American origin. Four couples face each other to make the sides of the square. All steps and movements are shouted out by a caller during the dance. We will practise the steps before the dance. We are delighted to be joined again by Isabel Boothby and Julian Marshall with their band to play their old time American folk music for our dances.
