With over 50 portraits that span seven decades, Lucian Freud: The Self-portraits offers a unique insight into his psyche and his development as a painter. These self-portraits not only trace Freud’s stylistic development but also reflect on the process of ageing, making this an unmissable chance to see a life’s work in a single show.
Visitors will have a one-hour audio described tour of this exhibition followed by a handling session. The handling session will invite visitors to explore objects relating to Freud’s process and artistic practice.
This workshop is free but has a limited capacity. Volunteer support and refreshments provided.
